After my first successful Somatics Studio Class and an overwhelmingly positive response on social media,
I’ve decided to offer this Intro to Somatics Starter Pack!
With a 15-page PDF of info and resources, a Body Scan Meditation, Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping) Meditation, and Progressive Muscle Relaxation Meditation, you’ll get the basics of somatics and nervous system regulation that you can use in the comfort of your own home!
Spring Studio Recital
Spring Studio Recital- Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 from 6:30-9pm at First Parish Unitarian Church (223 Main Street, Kingston)
-6:30 call time, 7:00 recital start time
-Anyone who would like to sing in the recital that does not take regular weekly/bi-weekly lessons will be required to do a package of four lessons to choose their repertoire and prepare for the performance.
-There is a $50 recital participation fee for all singers. This goes towards the cost of the venue and accompanist.
-There will also be a $5 *suggested donation* at the door (this is in lieu of a mandatory ticket) and the money from these suggested donations will go towards future lesson scholarships.
Recital Prep Studio Class
Recital Prep Studio Class- Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 from 1-4pm at my Plymouth Studio
-Anyone singing in the Spring Studio Recital in April is highly encouraged to participate in this studio class to prepare for the performance. We'll decide on repertoire and work on it in a group setting. This way folks have a chance to get out some nerves before they have to do it for a larger audience at the recital.
-Not performing in the recital? You're still welcome to join and sing any audition/performance repertoire you would like for an encouraging audience!
-$50 for non-studio members, $40 for studio members.
Valentine's Musicale Performance
Valentine's Musicale at Wingate Senior Living- Saturday February 8th, 2025 from 2:30-4pm at Wingate Senior Living (17 Chipman Way, Kingston)
-Back by popular demand (after having to cancel the caroling performance in December because I got sick), we'll be singing for the residents at Wingate Senior Living in Kingston. Sing a solo (think Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.) and get two hours of community service!
-There is a $15 participation fee for this event.
*Anyone singing in this performance will be required to have at least two private lessons with me beforehand to choose and prepare a song.*
Intro to Somatics & Breathwork Studio Class
Breathwork & Somatics Studio Class- Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 1-4pm at my Plymouth Studio
-"Somatics" refers to the study and practice of bodily sensations, perceptions, and experiences. I've been working with a somatic therapist, Rachel Otis (founder of Somewhere Under the Rainbow Collective) for the last four years and it has absolutely changed my life. Since singing is a somatic practice in itself, I thought introducing this concept and practice to my students would be incredibly helpful for tackling things like performance and audition anxiety, remaining present while on stage, and perfectionism. We will also explore Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR), which is a combination of breathwork and somatics and an excellent tool for dealing with anxiety of all types.
-$50 for non-studio members, $40 for studio members.

Back by popular demand, we'll be singing holiday favorites for the residents at Wingate Senior Living in Kingston.
Sing a solo or just carol at the end with everyone and get two hours of community service!
District Festival Audition Prep Studio Class
District Festival Audition Prep Studio Class- Saturday November 9th, 2024 from 1-4pm at my Plymouth Studio
Come work on the audition piece for SEMMEA (Massachusetts Music Educators Association) Junior and Senior South Eastern District Festival. We'll focus on the audition songs as well as basic sight reading practice
in preparation for auditions on 11/23 (Senior) and 12/7 (Junior).
Monologues Studio Class
Monologue Studio Class- Saturday October 19th, 2024 from 1-4pm at my Plymouth Studio
Learn all the basics of preparing a monologue for auditions.
Bring your own 60-90 second selection or I can help choose one for you!
Musical Theater Audition Workshop with Guest Artists Miguel Angel Vasquez & Brooklyn Toli
Middle & High School-aged singers will work with me and our wonderful Guest Artists on what it takes to nail their next audition!
-Perfect your singing and audition song cuts with me, Allyson Lynch Vocal & Teaching Artist (at Plymouth Studio) on Tuesday 8/20
-Get individual coaching on your acting and singing from Equity Actor, Singer, and Teaching Artist Miguel Ángel Vásquez (at Dennett Elementary School in Plympton) on Wednesday 8/21
-Sharpen your dancing skills with Guest Artist Choreographer Brooklyn Toli in a musical theater dance call (at Dennett Elementary School) on Thursday 8/22
$75/day or $210 for all three days.
This year I'm also excited to offer an extra add-on: headshot mini sessions with photographer Eli Lynch and performance resume feedback with me on Friday 8/23! For $65 you'll receive a 15-minute photoshoot and 3 edited headshots, as well as help creating/editing your performance resume.
*Most headshot packages cost $250-$500, so this is a wonderful opportunity to get professional headshots for a fantastic price!*
